About the event
Whether you've never stepped on a mat before or you've already been practicing but want have a deeper understand of what you're doing, this is where you start.
Welcome to The Den's Foundations Beginner course. This is a 5-week, small-group course designed to give you the real basics: pose introduction, how breath connects to movement, and how to build a practice that feels good in your body and makes sense to your needs.
Over five weeks you'll learn:
· Learn the foundational poses and how to do them well such as mountain, warrior I & II, downward dog, child's pose, and more.
· Basic yoga anatomy: your spine, hips, shoulders, and how they work together.
· Breath basics such as diaphragmatic breathing and what is Ujjayi breath and how to use it.
