Beginners Slow Flow

This class is designed for those new to the practice of yoga

This class is designed for those new to the practice of yoga. Class moves slowly and deliberately, giving you time to fully learn and feel each pose before transitioning to the next. Along the way, you'll build a foundation in breath-to-movement flow, key foundational poses, and modifications to suit your body. Each month, our instructor focuses on a single theme, giving you the time and repetition needed to truly integrate it into your practice. Class ends with savasana and a mini sound bath*. Please note sound bath will not always be available.

Breathwork + Yin

Release and restore

Breathwork and Yin is your weekly reset that blends gentle yang activation through the breath and deep yin restoration through slow poses and an extended savasana. This class starts with 15 minutes to drop into center and release stagnant energy with guided breath & meditative visualizations and then brings you into supportive yin practices to let your body heal itself. Open to all levels, this practice will bring you what you need through your body's wisdom.

Budakon Yoga

Slow moving strength

Budokon Yoga, a style of yoga codified and popularized by martial arts and yoga master Cameron Shayne beginning in 2001. Come learn this beautiful series, which consists of 7 intelligently assembled sections of slow and controlled movements designed to improve mobility, agility, flexibility and strength. We will learn the techniques through repetition and precision, with the emphasis being on the transitions from posture to posture, rather than the holding of postures. The purpose of this class is to gain muscular strength, cardiovascular stamina, as well as joint mobility and familiarization with the Budokon Yoga Series. We will learn to challenge ourselves, testing our limits while honoring the stage of our journey we are in today, using a zen mind to see life as it truly is.

Deep Release

Release, stretch, mobilize

Deep Release needs no introduction. Its name says it all. This class is slower paced, starting with a full body check-in and lite movement, noticing where we feel tight and bound up. Followed by a short flow to get the blood moving. We'll use various props, such as massage balls to work out some tight spots coupled with deep stretches. Each stretch is held for several breaths, giving the body time to relax. This class is sure to leave you feeling a deep sense of relaxation and that “ooey-gooey” feeling within the body.

Empowered Flow

Strong, sweaty, and deep focus

A strong, dynamic vinyasa flow designed to build heat, strength, and confidence from the inside out. Expect accessible but challenging sequences and creative transitions. Instructors offer modifications and variations, so whatever your starting point is, you'll have a clear path to build upon. This class meets you exactly where you are and invites you to leave a little stronger, a little steadier, and a little more EMPOWERED.

Reset Ritual Sound Bath

Sound. Reflect. Set Intentions.

Let this be your monthly ritual. Class is held at the end of each month with the goal to reset our nervous system through sound, reflect with journal prompts and set intentions for the month to come.

Slow Flow

Grounded, mindful, and focused

Ease into your week with an intentional flow designed to build steady heat and reconnect you with your body and breath. This class blends traditional yoga poses with a bit of mobility work, mindfulness, and creative transitions to help you release tension, move with more awareness, and set the tone for your week ahead. Expect a deliberate pace that gives you space to find each posture and stay with your breath. Most levels welcome, modifications and progressions are provided as needed.

Vinyasa

Breath to movement rhythm

This is a traditional Vinyasa yoga class with a well-rounded approach to movement and mindfulness. You’ll lengthen and strengthen your body through fluid, breath-guided sequences while exploring foundational pranayama and simple meditation techniques. Your instructor will offer clear, intuitive cues to help you move with purpose, alongside a vibey playlist. You'll leave feeling grounded, energized, and a little more at home in your-badass-self.

Wolf Spirit Flow

Wolf & Lion's signature class

Awaken the Wolf Spirit within you with Wolf & Lion creator Elyssa Swann, through a continuous vinyasa flow focusing on the magical attributes of the wolf. The spirit of the wolf guides you to trust your instincts and to live life powerfully. This yoga sequence will link together powerful postures that aid in the embodiment of the wolf spirit. Class is hosted once a month.

Walking Club *FREE*

Every step counts

Our Walking Club is open to everyone, membership or not. We meet at The Den every Tuesday morning (weather permitting) for a brisk 2-3 mile walk in the neighborhoods of Normal Heights and Kensington. We'll pass by little libraries, coffee shops, and small businesses. Our goal is to offer something that is open to everyone, gets us outside and moving, while giving us a chance to connect with community. Dogs are welcome, but must be friendly and on a leash.

Yin Yoga

Long supported holds, deep release, full exhale

Unwind from your workday with a soothing Yin Yoga class designed to help you slow down and reset. This meditative practice targets the body’s deeper connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, and joints through long, passive holds. Yin Yoga supports flexibility, circulation, and a calm nervous system. Gentle mantras and reflection questions are woven throughout to encourage self-discovery. The class closes with an extended Shavasana and optional essential oils to leave you grounded and restored.

Yoga Fit

Strength, cardio, and core fire

Unlock new levels of strength and confidence in a class that goes beyond your typical yoga session. We kick off with mobility and functional movement drills, then flow into a vinyasa sequence enhanced with extra repetitions, core work, and the use of blocks and resistance bands to target different areas of your body. We finish with deep stretches. This session is designed to challenge and invigorate, bring water to stay hydrated.
