About the event

Join Wolf & Lion and community March 17th (St Patricks Day) to be greann and get your hit of nature. We'll be hiking Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve, starting at 9am.

About Elfin Forest:

One of San Diego County’s most precious natural resources, the Reserve offers approximately 11 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails, as well as picnic areas and scenic mountain viewing points. In addition, the natural beauty of the Reserve includes such native plant communities as oak riparian, oak woodland, coastal sage scrub, and chaparral. All wildlife and natural resources at the Reserve are fully protected so that future generations may also enjoy these wonders. Plus it has an amazing view of Lake Hodges.

Dogs:

Dogs are allowed on a leash. Please bring enough water for you and your dog. Please pick up after your pet.

Kids:

There is a large hill (totally doable for adults), might be tough for young children. If you choose to bring your child, you are responsible for theirsafety and wellbeing.

Please wear comfortable hiking or trail shoes, hat and dress according to weather. Bring water, sunblock and snacks. Granola/nutrition bars will be provided (one per rsvp).

We all know we need exercise, what better way to get your steps in while enjoying nature. Plus you'll make new friends and meet other rad human from the Wolf & Lion community. We encourage you to rsvp so we have a head count.

With a heart that finds solace amidst nature's embrace, Britt loves leading groups of hikers on local trails that awaken the spirit of exploration and appreciation for our sacred wilderness. Since the beginning of her hiking journey over a decade ago, Britt has been a relentless explorer of all things outside. Her profound connection with the natural world led her to pursue and achieve her wilderness survival and first aid certification, further deepening her commitment to helping others experience the raw allure of Mother Nature.
